Kate Upton strength trains with her trainer Ben Bruno  at least 3 times a week.  Bruno says, "A lot of women are scared to lift heavy weights because they fear they'll bulk up and look masculine."  "The key though is to focus on getting stronger on the right things."

The trainer added that Upton “chases strength gains on squats, deadlifts, and Romanian deadlifts… And she can do over 100 pounds for 10 reps. She does hip thrusts with around 200 pounds for 10 reps and pushes a heavy sled weighing close to 400 pounds.”

Bruno added that Upton also avoids the stereotypical crash diet that some of her peers might engage in, preferring to focus on eating protein while limiting her sugar and alcohol intake.
